Our client is a global energy MNC looking to hire an LNG and Shipping Counsel. This is a newly created role focused on LNG transactions and operational matters.
You will work with the global legal team throughout the lifecycle of transactions and be responsible for global LNG shipping and operations. You will draft, negotiate and advise on LNG SPAs and related commercial agreements across the value chain, including shipping arrangements, LNG-related disputes and claims, and price reviews.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8–15 PQE in LNG trading with credible maritime experience. Deep, substantive LNG SPA experience is essential. Top law firm training and commercial experience gained in an LNG trading capacity are preferred.
